Project Global Youth x Cancer
Every cell rolls
the dice. Some
lose the lottery.
A student-led initiative for child cancer patients around the world — giving them a normal life, and giving youth a real role in oncology.
mission & goals
"It's not just biological. It's the way society metastasizes silence and distance into younger generations, leaving social wounds that outlast the disease itself."— M. Haider Bashir, Founder
Help child cancer patients around the world live a normal life, and give them a normal experience through our volunteers.
Support families through treatment — practically, not just emotionally.
Eradicate the stigma built around the word "cancer," and teach people it is not always equal to death.
Show people that cancer can be treated — and highlight the teens improving cancer research.
Give teens interested in oncology real opportunities, research access, and mentorship.
Hand interested teens the authority to open their own local GYxC chapters.
Where we've
reached so far
GYxC started in 2023 with one purpose — awareness. It grew into a network of volunteers and ambassadors carrying that purpose into hospitals, homes, and classrooms across six countries.

Books, toys, and a normal afternoon
Donated books, toys, and other items to young patients — small things that make a hospital room feel a little more like a bedroom.
